Nearpod’s Live Teacher Feedback feature supports student learning and provides greater transparency into student thinking and comprehension by allowing teachers to view a student’s work and intervene or provide feedback in the moment. Students will see that feedback in real-time and have the opportunity to update their work. Teachers will also have the option to share a student’s work with the whole class, with or without feedback visible.
**Live Teacher Feedback is available for all of Nearpod’s Drawable activities – Draw It, Drag & Drop, and all four Math Manipulatives – during Live Participation lessons.
How do I access Live Teacher Feedback?
During a live lesson, you can access Live Teacher Feedback from the teacher dashboard in any supported activities.

FAQs
Which activities support Live Teacher Feedback?
Live Teacher Feedback is available in Draw It, Drag & Drop, and Math Manipulatives in the live lesson session.
Will teacher feedback be visible in post-session reports and student notes?
Yes! Screenshots from reports and notes will include teacher feedback.
How do the share options work?
When a teacher is viewing a student’s work, they will see the option to share it with the class. Clicking on that button will expand a menu where they can choose whether they want to show just the student’s work, or the student’s work and the teacher feedback. If they choose to share the feedback as well as the student's work, they can continue annotating on that student’s work while they share, and those annotations will be visible to the whole class in real-time.
What do the “Hide feedback” options do?
Teachers can toggle between hiding and showing feedback using the eye icon in the Drawables toolbar. Hiding feedback simply makes it invisible on the canvas for the teacher – It doesn’t control the visibility of feedback for the student, and the feedback will still appear in post-session reports and student notes.
Students also have the option to hide teacher feedback using the button in the bottom left of their student session.
How will Live Teacher Feedback work for co-teachers?
Co-teachers will not see the option to add feedback, nor will they be able to see the feedback that a teacher has left on other participants’ work.
Is Live Teacher Feedback available in student-paced lessons?
Yes, Live Teacher Feedback is available in student-paced lessons.
