The new admin reports provide District and School administrators with trusted usage and impact data. This data supports informed implementation and renewal decisions.
With Nearpod's admin reports, district/school leaders can:
- Reflect on usage by school from live, student-paced, or front of class launches.
- Share implementation insights and data with an administrator, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) committee, or any intervention teacher to make data-driven decisions as a team.
In this article, you will learn how to:
- Access Reports
- Evaluate Monthly Active User Usage
- Analyze Usage by Activity Type
Access Reports
The new admin reports can be accessed from Reports in the left side navigation menu. Upon selection, you will see an Overview Summary of the active users, sessions launched, and activities that have been used for the selected time frame. Select View More or the tab to explore more details about usage.
Evaluate Monthly Active User Usage
The Overview Summary of reports provides administrators with data to better understand school or district usage. Admin can view the number of active schools, active users, and student joins, as well as whether the data is trending up or down for a given month. Additionally, administrators can compare year-over-year once data has been collected.
The Active Users tab can be accessed at the top of the Overview Summary or by simply selecting View More from the Active Users line graph to dive deeper into the data. Learn more about the lessons created, downloaded, sessions launched, valid sessions, student joins, and viewed reports by each teacher. Use this data to identify teacher leaders and make support plans for teachers with inconsistent usage.
Analyze Usage by Activity Type
There are two ways to learn more about the activities used in a district or school. The first way is to visit the Overview Summary in Reports. The Activities Submitted line graph displays the total number of activities used with a breakdown by the category of activity such as Quizzes & Games, Discussions, and Math Manipulatives.
Select the activity category/grouping tab to explore the number by activity type. Hover over each bar in the graph to learn whether usage for the activity type is trending up or down from the previous month. Admins can also compare year-over-year usage once data has been collected. These implementation numbers can inspire goal-setting and strategic planning to increase usage in the school or district.
The Activity tab can be accessed at the top of the Overview Summary or by selecting View More on the Activities Submitted graph. This tab provides more information about the number of slides used in sessions, upward and downward trends, and the average usage of each activity type per lesson.
