Adding Reference Media to activities

Nearpod activities now support adding "reference media" to enhance the way you are able to interact with students. These can be used anywhere from read this story (via a PDF file) to tell me what you think about this painting.


To add media to an activity please do the following:

Click Add slide > Add Activity


Choose the kind of activity you wish to use. In this guide, we are going to add an Open ended activity.



Once you've chosen your activity, you can then add your question and the reference media via the icon on the right of the text box. As you can see, you are able to add images, video, audio, PDF files, and even web content.



Choose your upload image option. In this instance we've gone with the Google image search feature and searched for Van Gogh.



You reference media will them be shown in the box and during the activity can be expanded by the students for the to view
