Student-Paced mode allows teachers to share asynchronous lessons, videos, and activities with students. Students move through the lesson at their own pace, any time, from anywhere. Teachers can view progress in real-time to monitor progress.
Personalize instruction for individual students, independent practice, or small groups. With Student-Paced mode teachers can:
- Differentiate or scaffold Nearpods to meet student needs
- Create Nearpod lessons, videos, and activities for students to use in any setting at school, home, or hybrid
Launch a Nearpod in Student-Paced mode
To launch a lesson, video, or activity first hover over the Nearpod in your library. Three lesson modes will appear. Select Student-Paced mode to generate a link or code to share with your students.
Now, it's time to share the Nearpod with your students! Check out this article to learn more about how students join a lesson.
Require student submissions
Require student submissions on Nearpod questions and activities by moving the toggle on or off depending on your needs. This requires students to complete tasks before being able to advance to the next slide. You can learn more in this article.
Set code expiration
Select the calendar icon to set the expiration date for assignments to last between 24 hours through 365 days. Readjust the expiration date if needed to extend or shorten an assignment.
