LTI 1.1 Canvas - Speed Grader

Once Nearpod and Canvas have been integrated, Nearpod lessons have added to Canvas, published, and completed by students. You can now grade those lessons using the Canvas "Speed Grader" tool.

This is highly beneficial as you can view the completed student assignment, and grade based on how well they've done. We will show you how by providing the steps below.

1. Select the completed Nearpod lesson under your list assignments on Canvas.

2. Select "Speed Grader" located in the top right-hand corner of your Canvas page.

3. Review the student's completed assignment, provide a grade under the "Assessment" tab, write comments under the "Assignment Comments" (if necessary), followed by selecting "Submit".

Congratulations, you've graded an integrated Nearpod lesson for your student using "Speed Grader" in Canvas!

The student will now be able to view their results under the "Grades" category of their student Canvas account.

They will be able to see their score on the new page, and if they want to see the breakdown of their score, they can select the lesson in question, which will provide them access to "Submission Details"  of their grade.
