How to use a 3D Object in a Nearpod lesson

Nearpod 3D adds a new dimension to digital learning that encourages students to participate in lessons in a visual and hands-on engaging way for more meaningful learning. 

In this article, you'll learn how to:

Teach with 3D Objects

When students arrive on a slide with a 3D object, they are able to zoom in and out on the image and rotate for a 360 degree perspective.   This provides a new dimension to digital learning that encourages hands exposure to the image.
Teachers will also be able to view and manipulate the object on their device.

 

Add 3D Images into your Nearpod lesson:

1. While editing your lesson, select Add Slide

2. Choose Nearpod 3D from the Activities tab

3. Use the filters to find and choose the image you want to add. You can preview the object, and then select Done to add the object to your lesson.
